Synopsis

Alec Couros is a Professor of Educational Technology and Media in the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina, Canada.

In this conversation Alec talks about digital identity, networked individualism, and the relationship between learning and sharing. He describes what he sees as the components of modern literacy, and touches on the corporatisation of elearning.

Alec will be in Australian for Moodle Moot late June (Cairns), and the ACEC conference in September (Adelaide).

He will also be hosting a MOOC on Digital Citizenship in May.
